Build up on your drawing skills with this fundamental course. Covering from the basic drawing techniques and equipment to learning how to draw the human figure.

The course runs once a week on Mondays, in 2 hour sessions, over 6 weeks. You’ll need to provide your own supplies, however paper materials can be supplemented.

What you’ll need to bring with you:

  • An A4 sized drawing sketchpad - note; find a sketchpad with a 200gsm (the paper weight) or greater, this is insures the paper has some quality.

  • A set of Sketching Pencils - note; this set should include the should the pencils strengths 6H, 4H, 3H, 2H, H, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 6B and 8B. If your set contains more strengths, do not worry. These are just more tools to add to your arsenal.

  • A putty rubber - note; this rubber is mouldable so it can erase smaller or irregular shaped areas.

  • A reliable pencil sharpener.
